Kirsten & Alex - Wedding at Fair Harbor Marina - Grapeview Washington
Hello, beautiful couples! I’m Larissa, and I'm thrilled to be sharing with you the incredible wedding of Kirsten and Alex. As their wedding videographer, I had the pleasure of capturing all the beautiful moments of their special day, and I can't wait to share their story with you.
Kirsten and Alex tied the knot on a sunny August day off the harbor in Grapeview, Washington, at the beautiful Fair Harbor Marina. The venue, owned by one of their friend's parents, provided a stunning backdrop for their intimate wedding, surrounded by about 20 of their closest friends and family.
The bridal party slept in yurts next to the venue the night before, creating unique and beautiful footage for their film. The bride, Kirsten, got ready in a room with her mom and sisters, and it was a touching moment when her mother helped her get into her dress.
Meanwhile, the boys began their day with a dip in the ocean, followed by getting dressed in their wedding attire, sharing stories, laughs, and drinks all around.
As the bride made her way out, her father saw her in her white dress for the first time, and it took everything to hold back the tears.
It was a shoeless wedding, as to stay grounded throughout the day, which was fitting since the couple and most of their guests were all chiropractors. Playing into their boho themed wedding.
As the ceremony began, their officiant, a good friend, started off with some sweet words, and their rings were passed around for everyone to see. Kirsten and Alex exchanged their vows and rings, and the officiant announced them as husband and wife. The crowd cheered as they kissed for the first time as a married couple.
Their couples' session between me and their photographer was a blast! Kirsten and Alex are so much fun, and it was easy to get beautiful and cinematic footage that we were able to sprinkle throughout their wedding film.
The reception was beautifully decorated under a stunning pavilion overlooking the ocean. As dinner was served, sweet words were exchanged between friends and family on behalf of the bride and groom. Alex's father even shared a funny moment discussing a childhood story of them throwing a ball together and symbolizing the baseball was now in his hands to share with Kirsten. As the father tossed a physical baseball to Alex, he fumbled and dropped the ball, leaving everyone in laughter.
The night continued with their father-daughter and mother-son dance, as well as their own special first dance with each other. As the party began, the dancing started. Sprained ankles, teddy bear dancing, and sunglasses at night truly left everyone (myself included) with a night worth remembering.
Kirsten and Alex's wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love, surrounded by their closest friends and family. I'm honored to have captured their special day and created a unique and stunning wedding film for them to cherish forever.
